Lansingerland (EN)

History

Lansingerland was formed in 2007 from a merger between Berkel en Rodenrijs, Bergschenhoek and Bleiswijk. The name refers to the land division that traditionally formed the border between the water authorities of Delfland and Schieland.

Researching the archives

Stadsarchief Rotterdam does not keep archives of the municipality of Lansingerland, but it does keep archives of its predecessors:

• Berkel and Rodenrijs
• Bergschenhoek
• Bleiswijk
